WELCOME TO ST. HELENA WINERY

We are happy to announce that our website is now live! For those of you who aren't familiar with our story, let me bring you up to speed.

St. Helena Winery is owned by my wife and I, Peter and Paulette Story. We at first pondered becoming a commercial winery, but were put off by its creative limitations. And we wanted to help wine lovers establish a more direct, emotional connection with the setting than a winery would traditionally offer. That's when we arrived at a startling conclusion: don't sell the wine.

In place of selling you a bottle of wine, you will become the 'parent' of the vine it came from by adopting a vine. For $79.95 per year, you can "adopt a vine" and "own" a piece of the Napa Valley. The 'Adopt-a-Vine' program is unique, allowing wine lovers to adopt one of 12,000 vines, and receive an annual 'appreciation gift' from the estate:

• 1 bottle of Sympa Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, OR
• 2 bottles of Scandale Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.

Now, 'parents' can savor this estate by adopting a vine with a name-plate on your own individual vine, enjoying its wines, and developing a closer connection to wine country. For those 'parents' who have adopted a vine and have had the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of your vine, here's what we have left.

So if you liked what you tasted and are interested in getting more, all you have to do is visit the website or call us to adopt another vine.
